Yogurtland Treats 'Heroes' At Children's Hospital & L.A. Dream Center

LOS ANGELES, CA — Yogurtland is acknowledging the work and dedication of such local heroes as teachers, nurses and frontline workers with free frozen yogurt as part of its #ShowYOHope campaign, that runs through June.

Recent recipients of the free fro-yo included employees at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and The Dream Center, an L.A.-based, volunteer oganization that serves families affected by homelessness and hunger. (Check out the photo show at top of post.)

And Yogurtland fans can get in on the action.

To recognize deserving individuals or organizations with a surprise Yogurtland delivery, Instagram users can tag the person or group, using hashtag #ShowYOHope, and jot a message of hope, gratitude and how they make a difference to their local communities.

"We're proud to kick off our #ShowYOHope campaign to thank the everyday heroes who support our communities year-round," said Brittany Knollmiller, marketing director of the Irvine-based business. "They deserve a delicious treat as a sign of appreciation from the communities they serve."

Founded in Fullerton in 2006 by owner Phillip Chang, Yogurtland now operates more than 250 locations throughout the U.S and worldwide, serving up an array of handcrafted flavors, including plant-based options.
