Join La Cañada Girl Scouts Troop 5881 Wednesday to sing along as the community kicks off the holiday season with the 17th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The event, which is sponsored by the La Cañada Girl Scouts, Friends of Glenola Park, the La Canada Noon Kiwanis Club and the , runs from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. Hot cider and cookies will be served.
The Girl Scouts, who organized this year's event, advise folks to dress warmly, as the night-time temperatures will dip into the low 50s.

Glenola Park is located at the intersection of Angeles Crest Highway and Vista Del Valle in La Cañada.
