L.A. Artist Dishes on His Cowboy Cardboard Cutouts

Glassell Park resident Justin Stadel, the artist behind the cowboy cutouts looming over the Glendale (2) Freeway, said he created the works so viewers could draw a spiritual feeling, a sense of freedom, from L.A.'s varied landscape.
