Updated: 8-Foot Marijuana Plants Nabbed in LCF Yard

Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Deputies confiscated 12 marijuana plants from a vacant house on Alta Canyada Boulevard.

Updated: Deputies from the confiscated 12 marijuana plants growing in the back yard of a house in the 5100 block of Alta Canyada Road Saturday night, Sgt. Ray Harley said Monday. 

The 8-foot tall mature plants were found in the back yard of a vacant home, he said. Deputies found no people at the residence at the time of their arrival, 5 p.m. Saturday. A phone call alerted the deputies to the plants.

The Crescenta Valley Station's narcotics bureau detectives are investigating, Harley said. If anyone has any information please call the station at 818-248-3464.
