Rita's Italian Ice to Open in La Cañada Flintridge

New business alert: Just in time for the dog days of summer, Rita’s Italian Ice is coming to 468 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada Flintridge. The shop has been sharing frequent updates on the status of construction. A tentative opening date is Aug. 12, according to its Facebook page.
It’s official: The Goodie Girls cupcake shop grand opening party is happening Saturday. There will be some complimentary sweet treats, giveaways and a visit from The Grilled Cheese Truck. The party is from 5 to 8 p.m. at 637 Foothill Blvd.
Upcoming fundraiser: The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station Support Group is holding its 30th Annual Golf Classic on Aug. 19. Proceeds will benefit the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station and its volunteers.
