Rose Court: 7 La Cañada Young Ladies Make 1st Cut
The Pasadena Tournament of Roses has selected the first 34 young women who still have a shot for a spot on the 2012 Royal Court.
Seven young women from La Cañada schools are one step closer to the crown.
Holding roses and smiling for a bank of media photographers, 34 women, clad in stilettos, platform heels--and one in an ankle boot--made the first cut in the journey to the 2012 Rose Queen and Royal Court. The queen will reign over the 123rd Rose Parade and the 98th Rose Bowl Game.
