They Got the Grades, What About Life Skills?

Seniors are in the home stretch for graduation this month and then: college. What advice do you have for your teen-ager as he or she heads off to live away from you?

Senior year is winding down, Moms and Dads. For many of you, you'll have one last summer where your teen-agers live at home, before heading off to a place that doesn't do their laundry or make them clean their room. Heck, the dining hall won't reach out to feed them and the Resident Assistant living on their dorm floor likely won't scold them for swaggering in the door at 3 a.m.

And certainly, no professor in a 300-student survey course will notice whether Corey made it to the last three classes, or drooled onto his notes from party-induced sleep deprivation.
