Vino e Amici (wine with friends) coming to La Canada April 21!

Embark on a journey to Italy without leaving the Foothills! Join Los Altos Auxiliary of Sycamores on Sunday, April 21 at 4 PM at the Thursday Club in La Canada for an enchanting afternoon of seven handpicked Italian wines, delicious “bits and bites," and charitable spirit at our Italian wine-tasting event, “Vino e Amici.”

Immerse yourself in an afternoon filled with old and new friends, captivating conversations, beautiful floral arrangements, a fun in-person silent auction and the joy of giving. Our guest speakers will inspire, leaving you proud you came. As the afternoon wanes, share “Vino al tramonto” with us!

The Los Altos Auxiliary is a group of determined women from the La Canada, Glendale, Pasadena and La Crescenta communities who work with Sycamores to provide care, compassion and hope for youth from extremely vulnerable situations now residing at the El Nido residential campus for young males in western Altadena. Often survivors of trauma and multiple foster home placements or the probation process, youth at the El Nido campus receive professional education and critical mental health services in a peaceful, spacious environment that fosters healing and growth. The goal is to stabilize mental health symptoms and provide the tools necessary to live successfully as a family and within a community.
