2 People Found Dead At Salt Creek Beach In Dana Point
Foul play is not suspected in the deaths, but authorities have not yet determined what happened.
DANA POINT, CA — A man and woman were found dead Friday morning at Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
It's unknown how the two people died, but authorities said foul play is not suspected. An official cause and manner of death will be determined later by the county's coroner's office.
Authorities have not released the identities of the man and woman.

The deaths appear to be an isolated incident, and there is no current threat to the public, the sheriff's department announced on Twitter.
The bodies were discovered around 6:50 a.m. when the sheriff's department received word of two unresponsive adults on the beach.

Deputies were still at the beach as of 11 a.m., and residents were asked to avoid the area.
