Cause Of Dana Point Deaths Won't Be Known For Months
A 78-year-old mother and her 49-year-old son were found dead early February on Salt Creek Beach near the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel.
DANA POINT, CA — The Orange County Sheriff’s Department said it could take several months to determine the reason a mother and her adult son were found dead on a Dana Point beach in early February.
Authorities still await the results of a toxicology report in the deaths of Guiyun Yi, 78, of West Covina, and her son, Ping He, 49, of Arcadia.
“Once all the information is received, a definitive cause of death can be made,” Sgt. Todd Hylton said. “I am not expecting anything to be finalized until late April at the earliest.”
