Community Pool Under Repair in Laguna Niguel

Here are five things to keep you informed about Laguna Niguel, Dana Point and all of Orange County for Monday, Aug. 26.

1. Pajama Storytime at Dana Point library starts Monday at 7 p.m. Expect stories, songs and fun. Walk-ins are welcome. The library is at 33841 Niguel Rd.
2. Repair and diagnostic work continues at Crown Valley Community Pool, 29751 Crown Valley Parkway. The City of Laguna Niguel expects the pool to remain closed through mid-September.
3. The Dana Point Tall Ships Festival, now in its 29th year, is coming to the Ocean Institute from Sept. 6-8. Interactive living-history encampments will include blacksmiths, scrimshaw artists and of course pirates!
4. The Dana Point Library hosts a roundtable discussion about mythology Wednesday at 7 p.m. For details dial 949-496-5517.
