- Pajama Storytime at Dana Point library starts Monday at 7 p.m. Expect stories, songs and fun. Walk-ins are welcome. The library is at 33841 Niguel Rd.
- Repair and diagnostic work continues at Crown Valley Community Pool, 29751 Crown Valley Parkway. The City of Laguna Niguel expects the pool to remain closed through mid-September.
- The Dana Point Tall Ships Festival, now in its 29th year, is coming to the Ocean Institute from Sept. 6-8. Interactive living-history encampments will include blacksmiths, scrimshaw artists and of course pirates!
- The Dana Point Library hosts a roundtable discussion about mythology Wednesday at 7 p.m. For details dial 949-496-5517.
