Nick Charles Brings Guitar from Down Under


Here are four things to keep you informed about Laguna Niguel-Dana Point and Orange County for Thursday, Sept. 19.

  1. Tom Curran will perform live at StillWater, 24701 Del Prado. Showtime is at 8 p.m.
  2. Yaaar, ye landlubber! Stop yer squawkin' and hoist sail for Krispy Kreme, 25802 El Paseo Ave in Mission Viejo. Everyone talking like a pirate today gets a free glazed original donut. If you come in full pirate regalia, you can help yourself to a full dozen.
  3. Guitar virtuoso Nick Charles of Australia will perform Friday night at 7:30 p.m. inside the Dana Point Community House, 24642 San Juan Ave. Tickets are $30.   4. Laguna Niguel's El Niguel Country Club, 23700 Club House Drive, will host an event to help feed the hungry. Called "Empty Bowls," the $75/plate fundraiser features seven soups prepared by local chefs. The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Oct. 24.
