VP Vance Visits Camp Pendleton, Hikes With Marines: Report

CAMP PENDLETON, CA — Vice President JD Vance went hiking with Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton this week, The Orange County Register reported.

Vance, who served in the Marines, took the three-mile hike on Friday, July 11. The hike involved climbing some hills while carrying a backpack, the report said.

"It was a great experience for our Marines to meet and engage with the vice president of the United States, a former Marine," Col. Kwabena K. Gyimah told the newspaper.
