California Highway Patrol officers made 110 drunken driving arrests in San Diego County during this year's long Fourth of July holiday, the agency reported Tuesday.
The reporting period was from 6:01 p.m. Wednesday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, according to CHP Officer Tommy Doerr.
Local CHP officers made 37 DUI arrests during last year's Fourth of July holiday but that reporting period was only 30 hours.
