MCASD's new exhibits:
“Emperor's River” features the work of San Diego photographer Philipp Scholz Rittermann. Two years ago, he set out to depict China’s rapidly evolving economy with a study of life along its historic 1,000-mile-long Grand Canal.
“High Fidelity” features selections from the 1960s and '70s, formative decades in the museum’s development. The exhibit includes more than 50 works artists, including Ellsworth Kelly and Agnes Martin, Billy Al Bengston, Ed Ruscha and Alexis Smith.
