Wait, Taco Bell Has A California Burrito Now?

It's a burrito made popular in San Diego filled with carne asada, french fries and other goods. Now, Taco Bell wants a piece of the action.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA -- Wait, Taco Bell is now offering a California Burrito? That's the talk on social media after the Irvine-based fast-food chain announced its ambitious plans this week.

Taco Bell, which has locations across the country, said it will offer its version of the burrito filled with beef, fries, nacho cheese, guacamole, sour cream and tomatoes. Traditionally, the burrito made popular in San Diego has carne asada, fries, pico de gallo and guacamole.

The burrito, which is first being tested in West Virginia for $1.99, will also be offered in other forms: Supreme and Chipotle.
