215 Freeway Traffic, Lane Closures Due To Salvage Yard Fire
Numerous vehicles and trailers burned in the yard, authorities said.
RIVERSIDE, CA — A fire that burned Monday at an auto salvage yard in Riverside forced the closure of Interstate 215 lanes.
The 3-acre blaze was reported at 9:15 a.m. at 2011 Spruce Street.
Amid Santa Ana winds, the fire burned toward the freeway, temporarily shuttering some southbound lanes.
