3 Arrested After RivCo Police Chase, String Of Burglaries
Three were arrested this week in connection with at least seven burglaries throughout Riverside County.
JURUPA VALLEY, CA — Three people were arrested Tuesday after a brief pursuit through the Jurupa Valley area on suspicion of committing a string of burglaries throughout the region.
Mira Loma residents Nicholas Land, a 33-year-old; Ivan Cervantes, a 34-year-old and Jesse Massie, a 38-year-old, were all booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on accusations of commercial burglary and conspiracy, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said Thursday.
On Sept. 5, deputies assigned to the Lake Mathew's Sheriff's Station were sent to investigate a commercial burglary on the 23000 block of Temescal Canyon Road in the unincorporated area of Corona, the agency said.

After identifying a suspect vehicle last week, deputies found a vehicle matching that description on Tuesday around 6:40 a.m. in the 25000 block of Rubidoux Boulevard. Deputies stated that they saw two men enter the vehicle and then flee the area.
Police attempted to stop the fleeing vehicle but the suspects "failed to yield." A brief pursuit ended in the 1500 block of Rubidoux Boulevard, where the pair were taken into custody, police said.

"During the review of the video surveillance, deputies confirmed a burglary had occurred at the location and identified a third suspect," police wrote in a release.
Officials said a third suspect was also found in the area and arrested.
Through further investigation, deputies found that the suspects may have committed six other commercial burglaries — another burglary in the Lake Mathews area, one commercial burglary in the Jurupa Valley area and four in the city of Corona, the agency said.
With the assistance of several agencies on Tuesday, a search warrant was served on the 5000 block of Beach Street in Mira Loma, where property of the commercial burglaries was recovered and returned to the owners, the agency said.
