3 Lake Elsinore USD Schools Make Statewide 'Honor Roll'

The Educational Results Partnership released its annual California "Honor Roll." Three LEUSD schools were on it.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A nonprofit organization recognizing schools and districts that "encourage collaboration among educators on best practices for raising student achievement" has given a nod to three Lake Elsinore Unified School District campuses.

Last month, the Educational Results Partnership released its annual California "Honor Roll." Tuscany Hills Elementary, Rice Canyon Elementary, and Cottonwood Canyon Elementary were named to it.

Approximately 21 percent of the schools in the state made the Honor Roll. Honor Roll schools are recognized for demonstrating consistently higher levels of student achievement, improvement in achievement over time, and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations, according to ERP.

Besides the MVUSD and TVUSD, only Corona-Norco Unified School District and Riverside Riverside Unified School District made ERP's Honor Roll for districts in Riverside County, though several campuses across the region made the schools' Honor Roll.

"We are proud to recognize these high-performing schools and are committed to learning from their best practices in preparing students with the foundational skills in reading, writing, and math that are critical for success in today’s job market."
