33 Arrested At Southwest Riverside Homeless Camps
Police said the day-long operation was a trespass enforcement operation.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA -- Thirty-three people were arrested Saturday in Lake Elsinore during a day-long sweep of homeless camps. Officers, along with Mayor Natasha Johnson, conducted a trespass enforcement operation at 17 homeless camps, police said.
Two people were arrested on drug-related charges, eight people were arrested on warrant charges, 19 people were arrested for trespassing and two vehicles were impounded, police said.
In addition, two people were connected with services to assist with chemical dependency.

Police said 15 people were provided information for services to assist with home placement, of which two accepted.
Further sweeps will be conducted in the future if needed, police said.
