4 Arrested In Perris Compliance Sweep Targeting Sex, Arson Registrants
The sweep targeted 35 registrants to verify they were following state laws and the terms of their probation or parole.
PERRIS, CA — Four men were arrested Thursday during a law enforcement operation aimed at ensuring compliance among local sex and arson registrants, authorities said.
On Thursday, deputies and investigators from the Perris Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau and Special Enforcement Team carried out a Sex and Arson Registration Parole and Probation Compliance operation, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The sweep targeted 35 registrants to verify they were following state laws and the terms of their probation or parole.

During the checks, the following suspects were arrested:
- 40-year-old Anthony Akens of Perris was arrested on suspicion of violating parole
- 58-year-old Felipe Munoz of Perris was arrested on suspicion of violating Post-Release Community Supervision
- 33-year-old Steele Aguire of Perris was arrested on suspicion of violating probation
- 31-year-old Richard Perez of Mead Valley was arrested on suspicion of violating parole
All four suspects were booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center, the department said.
