CORONA, CA — A lucky lottery player in Riverside County woke up Thursday feeling like a million bucks — $6 million, to be exact.

While there was no Powerball jackpot winner in California for the Wednesday night drawing, a ticket worth $6 million was sold at Sunny Donut in Corona. The store is located on Limonite Avenue, near Hamner Avenue, lottery officials said.

The winning numbers were 11, 41, 56, 57, 63 and 2. The winning ticket in Corona matched five numbers, but not the Powerball.

To start the year in January, the cumulative Mega Millions and Powerball nationwide jackpots were primed with more than $1 billion in prize money. By October, three major California jackpot winners propelled the California lottery into one of its biggest years in history, providing community support and making millionaires in the process.
