'Aircraft Emergency' At Elsinore Airport Hurts 2, Pothole Blamed
BREAKING: Fire officials say the plane landed on its roof and two people suffered minor injuries.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — The Riverside County Fire Department responded to an "aircraft emergency" on Friday afternoon after a plane flipped while on a Lake Elsinore runway, according to fire and transportation officials. The FAA says it was all likely prompted by a pot hole.
The incident was reported at Skylark Airport at 12:07 p.m., according to fire officials. When paramedics got to the scene, they found a tow plane on its roof, with two people inside.
According to FAA Spokesman Ian Gregor, the Vans RV9A — which is a single-engine aircraft — landed without complications. However, while taxiing, the pilot hit a pole hole, causing the plane to flip over.
