Following last week's arrest by investigators with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office, LEUSD Superintendent Dr. Ryan Lewis issued a districtwide statement to families, which read in part that based on current information from law enforcement, "we have not been informed that the alleged offenses occurred on school grounds, involved any students, or were connected to Mr. Robledo's work in our district."
Lewis said, "Upon learning about the arrest, disciplinary protocols were enforced based on the employee's alleged actions."
Robledo had served at the district's Cottonwood Canyon Elementary School on Lost Road. In a statement to families there, CCES Principal Dr. Fernando Betanzos said, "Out of sincere care and transparency, we want to inform you that Mr. Robledo was recently assigned to our campus."
The LEUSD leaders stressed that despite the "deeply concerning" events, they are committed "to the safety and well-being of every student and staff member" and will continue to partner with law enforcement.
