Citizen Reporter: Woman Collapses On Lake Elsinore Levee
The incident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. today, according to the citizen reporter.
A citizen reporter has notified Patch that a woman, estimated to be middle age, fell “face first” on the Lake Elsinore levee today and required medical assistance.

The woman did not get up, so 911 was called, according to the citizen reporter.

People on scene attempted to provide aid and said the woman had a “big hole in her forehead” from the fall; she also couldn’t remember where she was, according to the citizen reporter.
Given the woman’s location on the levee near the marine sanctuary, first responders had to cut through poles/fencing with bolt cutters to access the area and the ambulance had difficulty reaching her, according to the citizen reporter.

The woman was transported to a local hospital, according to the report. Her condition and identity are unknown.
