Ex Wildomar Youth Pastor Arrested For Lewd Acts On A Child

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA -- A man who's accused of committing lewd acts against multiple children during his time as a youth pastor in Wildomar has been arrested in Pennsylvania and extradited to California to face charges.

The case was opened in June of 2018, when the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station received a report of lewd acts on children which had allegedly been committed by a Wildomar youth pastor in the city of Wildomar.

Investigators conducted an extensive investigation, during which they determined several victims had been sexually assaulted when they were children between the years of 1999 and 2017. This led to another investigation, this time of different youth pastor from the same local church, who allegedly sexually assaulted a female child between the years of 1991 and 1992.

Investigators located the suspect Laverne Paul Fox (aka Paul Fox Laverne), a white male 60 years of age, in the state of Pennsylvania, and he was extradited back to California on Monday, July 29. Fox (pictured above) was booked into Robert Presley Detention Center on several felony charges related to sexual assault on children.
