Lake Elsinore School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Lake Elsinore is August 16. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Lake Elsinore Unified School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Holidays

• 12/20 - 12/22: High School Assessment, Minimum Day
• 12/25: No School (Christmas Day)
• 12/26 - 12/29: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's)
• 1/2 - 1/12: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Day)
• 1/16: No School for Students (Teacher Work Day)
• 1/17: Students Return to School, Middle School Early Release, High School Late Start

February

• 2/16: No School (Lincoln's Birthday)
• 2/19: No School (Presidents' Day)

April

• 4/2 - 4/6: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/5 - 6/7: High School Assessment, Minimum Days
