According to the sheriff's station, the incidents were related and possibly gang-related.

Investigators arrested Centeno-Guzman after a search warrant was served at an apartment on W. Limited Avenue in Lake Elsinore, jail records show. The search allegedly turned up a stolen firearm.

Centeno-Guzman was booked into Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of attempted murder, stolen firearm possession, and presenting false identification to a peace officer, according to jail records. Formal charges were expected to be filed by Tuesday.

A woman identified as Belica Guzman, 41, of Lake Elsinore was also arrested at the same apartment during the March 27 search warrant service and was booked into county jail on suspicion of evidence tampering, child endangerment, and willfully delaying/obstructing a peace officer. She was released from custody the same day in lieu of $35,000 bail. It's unclear how she is related to Kenyelo Centeno-Guzman.
