Man Gets Trapped Under Trailer In Lake Elsinore

Fire crews were preparing Monday to help free the man.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A man got trapped underneath a trailer in Lake Elsinore on Monday afternoon, prompting fire crews to respond to the scene and figure out how to free him. However, after they got to the scene, the unidentified victim managed to pull himself free.

The victim, whose name was not released, was reported to be stuck beneath the singe-wide trailer about 12:20 p.m. near the intersection of 11th Street and Tereticornis Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

It was unclear how or why the man got under the trailer. Firefighters were preparing to deploy heavy lifting devices to effect a rescue when the victim crawled out on his own shortly after 1 p.m., according to the fire department.
