Suspect Flees RivCo Robbery In Getaway Car: 2 Arrests Made
Both the suspect and the driver who fled the scene of an Eastvale grocery store robbery earlier this week were arrested this week.

EASTVALE, CA —Two people were arrested for allegedly robbing a grocery store in Eastvale, authorities announced Thursday.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Jurupa Valley station responded to a reported robbery at the store in the 12000 block of Limonite Avenue at about 9:25 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were told that a suspect approached an employee inside the store and stole an undisclosed amount of money, before fleeing into an awaiting white, 4-door Volkswagen, which was occupied by another suspect.

Deputies coordinated with the Riverside County Sheriff's Aviation Unit to search for the vehicle, which allegedly was located in the 6000 block of Fairlane Avenue in Eastvale. Authorities said the two robbery suspects were also located at a residence.
A search warrant was served at the residence and authorities said evidence of the crime, including the majority of the stolen money, was recovered.

According to the sheriff's department, Charles Sanford Jr., 27, of Rialto and Elijah Tucker, 26, of San Bernardino were arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on Wednesday night on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy.
Tucker was released on $30,000 bail, while Sanford was held with no bail due to an out-of-county warrant.
