Where To Dispose Of Hazardous Waste In Lake Elsinore
This weekend, Riverside County is hosting an event for residents to drop off paint products, electronic waste, pesticides and more.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Do you have old or unused paint thinners, televisions, antifreeze, cleaners, expired medications, or pesticides that you need to purge from your home?
Thanks to Riverside County Waste Resources, you can dispose of them for free on Oct. 4 in Lake Elsinore.
On Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents can take advantage of a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event at the Public Works Yard at 512 N Langstaff St.

Here are some of the items that will be accepted:
- Automotive chemicals
- Household pesticides
- Batteries (auto, household & rechargeable nicads)
- Paint
- Electronics (including TVs, computers & monitors, VCRs, etc.)
- Used motor oil
- Fluorescent tubes & bulbs
- Pool chemicals
- Household chemicals
- Sharps (hypodermic needles)
- Household cleaners
