Wildomar Man ID'd In Lake Elsinore Motorcycle Crash

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department Coroner's Bureau positively identified the victim after notification of his next of kin.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A Wildomar man died in an early morning motorcycle crash in Lake Elsinore, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Coroner's Bureau.

The motorcyclist, identified as Brandon Heath, 21, died at the scene on Westbound Canyon Hills Road, near Rosemary Road, according to the coroner's report.

Heath's next of kin was notified before the report was made public.

Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station arrived at Canyon Hills Road and Sage Lane, where the major injury traffic collision occurred early Friday.

Shortly after 1 a.m., emergency responders arrived to find an unresponsive motorcyclist in the roadway and began lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived.

Cal Fire continued lifesaving measures, but ultimately pronounced the rider deceased at the scene.

The Lake Elsinore Station’s Traffic Team assumed the investigation. It was not immediately released if any other vehicles were involved in the crash.

"Alcohol is being considered as a factor in the collision," Foster said.

No additional details were immediately available in the ongoing investigation.
