The first lesson is always free! The teacher and forever student, whose name is Jan Parra. Jan has been teaching for more than 35 years. He started studying at the Conservatory of Music when he was 13 years old. Later in College Music theory in his Hometown of Venezuela, and then became a Certified Instructor through Berklee College of Music. Many of Jan's Students have gone on to record albums, tour outside the US, become Sound Engineers, Professional Guitar Players, and meet their guitar-playing and music goals. Jan worked hand in hand on several projects with producers like Trino Jimenez, a famous Latin Music Producer and Arranger. Trino Jimenez arranged one of Jan's nostalgic, beautiful master piece called "Delirium", "Ayer". Jan's Music is being played by Orchestras and theaters. Jan is well-versed as an instrumentalist playing the Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar, Ukulele, and Bass.

Whatever your reason, sometimes it's nice to just leave the diet at the door when you dine. When that craving for something truly indulgent hits, we want to know where in East County you go for your fix. You already told us some of your favorites during the nomination period, and now we've put them into a poll  — ready for you to vote to help us determine the local favorite.
