Bomb Threat Evacuates Spring Valley Kmart, No Bomb Found

Sheriff's Department: "Somebody called in a bomb threat and Kmart decided to evacuate the store."

The Sheriff's Department investigated a report of a bomb phoned in to the Kmart in Spring Valley Saturday, but the search turned up empty.

The incident occurred about 2:45 p.m. at the Kmart at 935 Sweetwater Rd. in Spring Valley, Sheriff's Sgt. Clayton Lisk said.

"Somebody called in a bomb threat and Kmart decided to evacuate the store," Lisk said. "The Sheriff's Department was called in to walk the store but found nothing. It was a hoax."
