Coming Wednesday: La Mesa-Mount Helix Patch, with Eric Yates as Editor

You’ve been telling us you’d like more coverage of local issues and places to shop and do business—and we’ve heard you. We’re happy to announce that we’ve harnessed our resources to more effectively cover La Mesa area communities.

Starting Wednesday, we will introduce LaMesa-MountHelix.Patch.com! 

It makes more sense to our readers and local small business owners to offer coverage that extends into Mount Helix and Casa de Oro, doesn’t it?

Much of the information we were offering was of interest to residents of both communities; having it all in one place will make it easier for you to keep up with all the goings-on, without flipping back and forth between sites.

will take over as editor of the combined site. will assume the new role of associate regional editor for south and east San Diego County Patches (including Santee, Lemon Grove Imperial Beach, Coronado and Ramona).

Here are some of the exciting benefits this will bring to both communities:

• All of the businesses will be part of our extensive community directory, called Patch Places.
• Business owners will continue to be invited to claim their listings.
• And readers will have a comprehensive resource for finding every business in La Mesa, Mount Helix and the adjacent areas of Casa de Oro and Spring Valley.
