Crime Report: Parolee Arrested with Burglary Tools

The following information was provided by the San Diego Sheriff's Department. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

A stolen car was recovered on Cacus Street at Glen Vista Street.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

A special detail arrested a 40-year-old male for possession of marijuana for sale; cultivation marijuana; and felon in possession of a firearm, all felonies, in the 3300 block of South Bonita Street. A 28-year-old male was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance.

A 34-year-old male was arrested for a felony parole violation in the 9700 block of Campo Road.

A residential burglary was reported in the 3600 block of El Canto Drive. Items valued at $9,335 were reported stolen.

Thursday, Feb. 2

A 40-year-old was arrested for a felony parole violation and misdemeanor possession of burglary tools and presenting a false identity during a subject stop on Kenwood Drive at Helix Street.

A 57-year-old male was arrested for misdemeanor under the influence of a controlled substance on the state Route 54 west onramp at Jamacha Boulevard around 4 a.m.

A 45-year-old female was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance in the 8700 block of St. George Street at 8:40 a.m.

Friday, Feb. 3

Four wheels were vandalized in the 9000 block of Kenwood Drive. Damage was estimated at $460.

A 57-year-old man was arrested for felony ammunition possession in the 9400 block of Eucalyptus Street.

A 36-year-old female was arrested for a felony parole violation in the 10300 block of Centinella Drive just after noon.

A residential burglary was reported in the 1100 block of Helix Street. Jewelry valued at $4,700 was reported stolen.

Saturday, Feb. 4

A 23-year-old female was cited for misdemeanor battery on a person at 3:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of Sweetwater Road. A 26-year-old female suffered a minor injury, according to a report.

A 25-year-old male was arrested for misdemeanor under the influence of a controlled substance on Ildica Street at Sweetwater Road just before 4 a.m.

A commercial burglary was reported at a church in the 8400 block of Blossom Lane. An item valued at $1,800 was reported stolen.

A 31-year-old male was arrested for felony vandalism in the 1600 block of Tarleton Street. Damage to a car was estimated at $3,000.

A 39-year-old male was arrested for misdemeanor under the influence of a controlled substance in the 2800 block of S. Barcelona Street.

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 900 block of Sweetwater Road. Credit cards and a stereo component valued at $100 were reported stolen.

Sunday, Feb. 5

Two cars were reported stolen in the 6300 block of Quarry Road.

A 37-year-old male was arrested for misdemeanor under the influence of a controlled substance in the 9700 block of Campo Road around noon.

Monday, Feb. 6

A residential burglary was reported in the 300 block of Glen Vista Street. More than 25 items with a combined value of more than $9,900 were reported stolen.

A 47-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public in the 9400 block of Lamar Street just after 4:30 a.m.

A car valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 8800 block of Greenridge Avenue.

A 36-year-old male was arrested for misdemeanor under the influence of a controlled substance just after 8 a.m. in the 500 block of Sweetwater Road.

A 50-year-old man was arrested for a felony parole violation on Campo Road at Kenwood Drive.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

A vehicle belonging to the Grossmont Union High School District was reported vandalized. Damage to a window was estimated at $219.68.

A 40-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public just before 8:30 p.m. in the 9500 block of Kenwood Drive.

A 48-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public at 11:20 p.m. on N. Granada Avenue at Campo Road.
