Crime Report: Man Facing Attempted Murder Charge

Wednesday, Feb. 15

Computer and music equipment were reported vandalized at a business in the 10700 block of Jamacha Boulevard. Damage was estimated at $6,000.

A stolen car was recovered in the 1600 block of Canyon Road.

A subject stop led to the arrest of a 30-year-old male on a felony warrant and a 37-year-old female for a felony parole violation in the 9800 block of Campo Road.

Thursday, Feb. 16

A car and a truck were reported vandalized in the 100 block of Lechuza Lane. Damage was estimated at $11,000.

A call about a disturbance led to the arrest of a 44-year-old male for felony possession of a controlled substance in the 800 block of Concepcion Avenue at 1:40 p.m.

A 27-year-old female was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance in the 1200 block of Helix Street.

A 29-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public around 4 p.m. in the 2700 block of Central Avenue.

A car valued at $2,500 was reported stolen in the 9000 block of Kenwood Drive.

A car valued at $1,000 was reported stolen in the 9700 block of Dale Avenue.

A car valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 2000 block of Fabled Waters Drive.

An assault with a deadly weapon not firearm was reported on Paradise Valley Road at S. Worthington Street

Friday, Feb. 17

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a 28-year-old male for a felony parole violation just after 10 a.m. in the 9100 block of Kenwood Drive.

A juvenile was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance just after 1 p.m. in the 8500 block of Blossom Lane.

A traffic stop in the 9400 block of San Diego Street led to the arrest of a 41-year-old male on a felony warrant and 45-year-old male for felony possession of a controlled substance.

A 29-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public around 8 p.m. in the 1000 block of Ekelton Boulevard.

A subject stop led to the arrest of a 20-year-old female in the 9300 block of Campo Road around 8:30 p.m.

A false bomb threat was reported at Hillsdale Middle School around 9 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 18

A 20-year-old female was arrested for being drunk in public in the 2300 block of Grove Lane around 2 a.m.

A 19-year-old female was arrested for DUI around 3:20 a.m. on Sweetwater Road at Blossom Lane.

A commercial burglary was reported in the 600 block of Sweetwater Road. Three televisions valued at $2,700 were reported stolen.

A 39-year-old male was arrested for felony threatening with intent to terrorize in the 6300 block of Quarry Road.

A car valued at $1,000 was reported stolen in the 8300 block of Holt Street.

A 34-year-old female was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance in the 1000 block of Elkelton Boulevard around 7 p.m.

A stolen car was recovered in the 4000 block Helix Street. A stereo and $200 in cash were reported stolen from the car.

An assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 9800 block of Ivanho Street. A 46-year-old male suffered a severe laceration, according to a report.

A 42-year-old male was arrested for a felony parole violation in the 3200 block of Bancroft Drive around 11 p.m.

A 46-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public at 11:40 p.m. in the 7000 block of Broadway.

A residential burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Sweetwater Lane. Fourteen pieces of furniture valued at $1,445 were reported stolen.

Sunday, Feb. 19

A suspicious-person call led to the arrest of a 40-year-old male on a felony warrant in the 3500 block of Ybarra Road around 3:30 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 20

A computer valued at $833 was reported stolen from a building in the 9000 block of Harness Street.

A 23-year-old male was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance around 11:30 p.m. in the 9200 block of Olive Drive.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

The Bank of America branch inside Albertsons on Sweetwater Road was ; $2,000 was reported stolen.

A 57-year-old male was cited and released for shoplifting at 7-Eleven in the 2800 block of Bancroft Drive. Items valued at $2 were recovered.

A residential burglary was reported in the 8800 block of Tyler Street. Jewelry valued at $430 was reported stolen.

A 27-year-old male was and assault with a deadly weapon just after midnight in the 1600 block of Canyon Road. He was armed with a lethal cutting instrument, according to a report. The suspect is being held without bail on an immigration hold.

A piece of construction equipment valued at $1,500 and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 3100 block of Fair Oaks Drive.

A cell phone valued at $199 was reported stolen in the 8500 block of Blossom Lane.
