Early Morning Car Crash Slows Campo Road Traffic

An early morning car accident outside the on Campo Road slowed traffic on the busy thoroughfare temporarily on Wednesday.

At about 8:45 a.m. a Mazda 6 and a Toyota Prius hybrid were involved in a two-car accident. One of the cars was attempting to turn left into the shopping plaza, when the cars collided. Neither driver reported being hurt in the accident, though there was extensive damage to each vehicle.

A California Highway Patrol officer arrived on the scene in about 15 minutes, and helped move the wreckage to the side of the road, allowing traffic flow to return to normal.
