Update: Man Dies After Wife Pins Him Between Car and RV
When officers arrived, they found the victim unconscious. The accident occurred in the 4400 block of Dale Avenue.

An investigation was underway Wednesday into the death of a 64-year-old man who was pinned between a car and a trailer by his wife in La Mesa.
The man's wife was backing the car onto the trailer when the accident occurred in the 4400 block of Dale Avenue about 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to La Mesa police. He died at the scene, police said in a statement.

Police added that the couple did not live in La Mesa.

A 64-year-old man was killed Tuesday when he was run over by a vehicle in the 4400 block of Dale Avenue, police said.
At approximately 1 p.m. the La Mesa Police Department received a call for service about the accident. When officers arrived, they found the victim unconscious, having been pinned between a car and an RV. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
