After your blog is live, feel free to promote it on your Facebook and Twitter account. We'll share your post with the community in our daily newsletter.

All you have to do is join Patch (for free!) and create a blog profile. Start your blog profile here. Then you can name your blog, describe what topics you’ll be writing about, upload a photo or select an icon to represent your blog, and click “Create Blog.” Then you’re ready to write your first post!
