Memorial Event Will Celebrate the Life of Elisa Maria Osuna
The memorial is Friday evening at Cali Comfort, from 5-11:30 p.m.
Nicole Pabst knew she had to do something.
Watching the family she's known for decades lose their daughter in a tragic car accident, the Spring Valley resident knew she had to try and help them in whatever way she could.
Pabst is childhood friends with Velen Osuna, the older sister of Elisa Maria Osuna, the 27-year-old Chula Vista woman who was on SR-94 and Bancroft Avenue on July 30.

Pabst wanted to help the Osunas their time of need, so she helped organize a memorial celebration for Elisa at on Friday night.
"[The Osunas] wanted to do some sort of fundraiser, but they didn't know how to get started," said Pabst. "So I contacted Cali Comfort to see if they would host a memorial celebration and they opened their doors."
