Grossmont Healthcare District will be hosting three healthy living workshops, Living a Brain Healthy Lifestyle on Monday at 10 a.m., Shopping for Assisted Living Workshop on Wednesday at 11 a.m. and How to Talk to Your Doctor on Friday at 11 a.m. at the District Conference Center (9001 Wakarusa St). 
  2. Les Miserables presented by Young Actors' Theatre on Thursday.
  3. Graceland Elvis Tribute Plays Sunset Summer Concert Series, Friday at Grossmont Center.
  4. Summer Movies in the Park: Wreck It Ralph at La Mesita Park on Friday.
  5. Household Hazardous Waste Collection- Free disposal of paint, electronics, batteries, fluorescent lights, cleaning/pool/yard chemicals, automotive fluids, sharps, and propane for City of La Mesa residents. By appointment, call 619.287.5696x4270.
