Several Stolen Cars Reported Across Spring Valley in Latest Crime Report
The following information was provided by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Here is a review of the crimes reported from Oct. 4-11. Items of note from the press board at the :
Tuesday, Oct. 4
A theft of a license plate was reported in the 3000 block of Highlands Boulevard.

Wednesday, Oct. 5
A sex crime against a child was reported in the 600 block of Felicita Avenue.

A car valued at $20,000 was reported stolen in the 10400 block of Fairhill Drive.
A station wagon valued at $3,500 was reported stolen in the 8900 block of Harness Street.
A stolen car was recovered in the 1600 block of Walbollen Street just before midnight.
Thursday, Oct. 6
A vehicle valued at $1,500 was reported stolen in the 1400 block of Walbollen Street.
A battery on a person was reported in the 700 block of Sacramento Avenue around noon.
A residential burglary was reported in the 8700 block of Bigford Street. The loss was valued at $180.
A vehicle valued at $2,000 was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Paraiso Avenue. An arrest was made but the name was withheld.
A residential burglary was reported in the 8600 block of Eileen Street at 7:30 p.m. Losses were estimated at $4,500.
Friday, Oct. 7
A car valued at $4,000 was reported stolen in the 9100 block of Jamacha Road.
A residential hot prowl burglary was reported in the 8600 block of Eileen Street just after 8 a.m. A 26-year-old man was arrested at the same time and location on a misdemeanor warrant.
Christopher Cresap, 40, was arrested in the 8700 block of Jamacha Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. for felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
A car valued at $1,000 was reported stolen in the 9600 block of Osage Street around 9 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 8
Douglass Higbee, 21, was arrested just before 5 p.m. in the 8800 block of Bonnie Jean Place for felony possession of a narcotic controlled substance.
Joseph Navarro, 41, was arrested for a felony parole violation on Jamacha Boulevard and San Juhn Street just before 7 p.m.
A gas cylinder valued at $322 was reported stolen from a business in the 900 block of Grand Avenue.
Sunday, Oct. 9
A theft from a vehicle in the 3100 block of Sweetwater Springs Boulevard was reported. Miscellaneous items worth $470 were missing.
A car valued at $1,500 was reported stolen in the 6300 block of Quarry Road. According to the report the car was recovered.
A grand theft was reported in the 8400 block of Stansbury Street. Losses were estimated at $1,740.
A car valued at $20,000 was reported stolen in the 3400 block of Glen Drive.
Monday, Oct. 10
A television valued at $795 was reported stolen from a business in the 2700 block of Via Orange Way around 4:30 a.m.
A car valued at $1,500 was reported stolen in the 10700 block of Jamacha Avenue.
Tuesday, Oct. 11
A case of elder abuse was reported in the 2400 block of Central Avenue.
Abdul Ali, 21, was arrested in the 9900 block of San Juan Street for assault with intent to commit rape. The report listed two anonymous victims.
