More than a thousand visitors were on hand at on Sunday, to celebrate East County Earth Day. The third annual festival was a gathering of eco-friendly vendors and exhibitors, live music, and family-friendly events.

Guest speakers at the festival were Marion Stacey of Hummingbird Rescue, Cheryl Hinton of the Barona Cultural Center & Museum, Brad Woolf of "Hire-A-Goat," Karen Contreras of Urban Plantations, and Tom Leech, co-author of Outdoors San Diego: Hiking, Biking & Camping.
