Poll: Should SDG&E Charge for Restoring Analog Meters to Requesters?

Critics cheer prospect of removing wireless smart meters, but bemoan possible new costs.

In a blog post Thursday, smart meter critic Susan Brinchman cheered the prospects of SDG&E being required to offer customers their old analog electric meters back—and remove the wireless smart meters that she and others call a health danger. But she wrote: “SDG&E will charge customers extra fees for change-out of the smart meters ($75) and a monthly fee of $10 for the privilege of not being irradiated or intruded upon by SDG&E.”  How do you view these possible new expenses?
