He started studying at the Conservatory of Music when he was 13 years old. Later in College Music theory in his Hometown of Venezuela, and then became a Certified Instructor through Berklee College of Music. Many of Jan's Students have gone on to record albums, tour outside the US, become Sound Engineers, Professional Guitar Players, and meet their guitar-playing and music goals. Jan worked hand in hand on several projects with producers like Trino Jimenez, a famous Latin Music Producer and Arranger. Trino Jimenez arranged one of Jan's nostalgic, beautiful master piece called "Delirium", "Ayer". Jan's Music is being played by Orchestras and theaters. Jan is well-versed as an instrumentalist playing the Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar, Ukulele, and Bass.

San Diego Gas &amp; Electric has reported a major power outage that hit the La Mesa area at around 9:20 p.m. According to the <a href="http://sdge.com/safety/outages/outage-map" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">agency's website</a>, approximately 3,200 customers are affected. Power is expected to be restored at 10:15 p.m. A Nixle Alert was issued at 9:23 p.m. saying that traffic lights were out in parts of the city, and asking people to avoid roads if possible.
