Question of the Day: Did U.S. Court Do Right Thing by Striking Down Prop. 8?

The San Francisco-based federal appeals court struck down state's law against same-sex ban.

In a victory for gay and lesbian couples, the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals struck down the same-sex marriage ban imposed by voter-approved Proposition 8.  The case is expected to be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. But what about the court of La Mesa Opinion?  How do you view this issue?
