Question of the Day: Should Supreme Court Uphold Arizona Immigration Law?

Several sections of law will be scrutinized, including police checking immigration status of some.

The U.S. Supreme Court has decided to hear arguments on the new Arizona immigration law. Eight justices (with Elena Kagan recusing herself) will decide whether Arizona crossed the line into federal jurisdiction. Among the provisions being scrutinized: A section of the law requiring state and local police to check the immigration status of anyone who has been arrested, stopped or detained that the police reasonably suspect to be in the country illegally. What say you?
