Question of the Day: Dems or GOP Most to Blame for the Deficit-Cut Deadlock?

Both parties appear to be locked into positions against compromise—despite risks to the economy.

The 12-member Super Committee in Washington appears to be deadlocked and unable to meet deadline for submitting a plan to cut $1.2 trillion from the federal budget over the next 10 years.  Who is most responsible for this inaction?
