Question of the Day: Should Alpine Have Its Own High School Campus?
Grossmont Union High School District adopted new attendance boundaries that assume no new school for Alpine community.
By approving the Boundary Model 9 proposal of the Grossmont Union High School District Boundary Committee, the school board Thursday night sent a signal that it’s not planning to build a 12th high school in Alpine anytime soon. Some incoming students might not attend Grossmont High School as a result of the map changes. Does Alpine deserve its long-sought high school campus?
